HOLIDAY IDEAS FOR EASTER 2018

The first major holiday after the new year celebrations is less than three weeks and I am patiently anticipating Easter this year which is from 30th March to 2nd April 2018. Every holiday is definitely  a time to relax, explore, try something new or just chill .
As a travel blogger that I am, I already plan to explore a new place this Easter and I am here to give you some holiday ideas for Easter 2018 which you can pick from and plan towards if you are currently in Nigeria.

1. EASTER GETAWAY TO GHANA

Ghana happens to be one of the closet countries to Nigeria as it is visa free for Nigerians like I said here and is usually a destination for Nigerians and what a time that Social Prefect tours in partnership with SkechersNigeria presents “Easter in Ghana” 🇬🇭. Join them for this mind blowing experience that will feature tours to :- Kakum national park , Labadi beach , Capecoast castle, Jamestown ,Kwame Nkrumah museum, Accra night life and lots more . This is from March 30th to April 2nd 2018 and it cost 270,000 naira ($755). Fee includes- Flights to and fro, Accommodation, Tours, Breakfast and lunch, activities, goodie bag, SPT t-shirt, and A Skechers shoe for everyone coming. 2. DAY TRIP TO LUFASI NATURE PARK

The Easter period is typically a very fun filled period and provides a much needed break from the everyday hustle and bustle for a lot of people. However, for so many even with the freed up time; there is still the challenge of what to do to make the most of the extended weekend. Although there are usually a lot of activities happening and nearly every spot has something going on, going solo can be very boring. Luckily, Hangout Buddy has something that ticks all of the above box.

They are organizing a day trip to Lufasi Nature Park on Easter Sunday the 1st of April 2018. With just N5,000 you get gate access, Food, Drinks, Acapella, Games and much more. This means that even if you don’t have company, you have the opportunity to meet new people for a fun day out in a relaxed atmosphere.  For more information, contact Lola on 0909361558 or send an email to [email protected] or. However the slots are limited so hurry and join in.

3. EXPERIENCE THE HISTORIC CITY OF KANO

If you live in Abuja or have the opportunity to be in Abuja around Easter this year then Bauchi Friends have something just for you. Experience the Historic City of Kano and learn about northern Nigeria’s culture and history with leisure. In the trip, they shall be exploring the ancient Kano City Walls, the Kano Emir’s palace (visit the Emir too), the famous Gidan Makama museum, the historical Dala and Goron Dutse hills and more. All the 2 nights will be spent at the Porto Gulf Resort, Minjibir. Takeoff is from Abuja. You can Contact them on Instagram here

4. BACKPACKING ON A SUSPENDED LAKE

Did you know that there are only two suspended lakes in the world? The Hanging Lake in Colorado, United States of America and the Ado Awaye Suspended Lake in our very own Oyo State, Nigeria. ComeMakeWeGo is organizing a backpacking experience and this is a totally unique experience that I love. Unfortunately I can’t go at this time but I definitely would be going soon. If you are up for a different experience this holiday then this is for you. For further details you can reach them here

5. TRY SOMETHING NEW

If you are not interested in travelling out and just want to relax and just want to be in Lagos then there are couple of places you should try to visit. Explore a new restaurant, go on the longest canopy walk in LCC, Play games at Rufus and Bees, Visit an Art Gallery, Take a yoga class, Make a quick trip to Olumo Rock and just do you.
