About a  week ago, Valentine’s Day was celebrated all around the world which is a day to show love but in my opinion I feel love should be celebrated every day . This year’s valentine’s day was very special for me as it was the first one in a long time that I received gifts.

My day started with me getting free cupcakes from Uche of Taxify. Thereafter I got a call that I had a package and a very special person to me sent me very cute cupcakes with a lovely handwritten letter and a gift. After work, I went to Rufus and Bees which is a newly opened game arcade in Lagos. A lot of people kept asking me where the place was after seeing my Instagram and WhatsApp stories (You can follow me on Instagram here, so you don’t miss all the fun).

Rufus and bees is a lovely game arcade that offers varieties of games, foods and drinks as well. If you are visiting for the first time, you have to get a card which is yours for life at a cost of 1,000 naira. There after you buy chips on the card with a minimum of 5,000. Each game you want to play requires a number of chips. From 1.7 to 2.2 to 3.8 etc. so as you play, you chips are going down.

The games that have a yellow sign gives you tickets which you can redeem at a souvenir shop at the arcade while the games with the blue sign do not offer raffle tickets. My Favorite games there were: candy crush, the basketball game and the one that I had to dance. Afterwards, I had a nice meal there and headed home. Rufus and bees is located at: Remi Olowude St, Nigeria Oceanside, Lekki and you can check their Instagram page here.
